Mustafa Gamal worked as a Software Architecture Consultant with 15+ years of experience in Software Industry. He provides consultation on how to maintain a strong Software Architecture that supports Business Agility. He helped to shape strategies for organizations in the software industry and international NGOs. He helped many startups to define their business model, build their technical teams, and shape their technical Software Architecture.
During his experience as a teaching assistant, he guided many students in finding innovative business ideas that turned to be successful startups later on. Mustafa has a strong experience in Lean Management using Agile Methodologies.
Mustafa has a master degree in Cloud-Based Applications Architecture and Design with published papers in the same field. His research work was in developing an architectural model that utilizes Service Oriented Architecture methods and disciplines to develop SaaS applications hosted over Cloud infrastructure.
He believes in connecting research to business to provide most optimized solutions for each unique business problem.
Experience includes training in the field of software development from different aspects for about 9 different programming languages as well as coaching the trained teams in their software development projects.
Mustafa participated in and led teams solving challenging projects. One of his most featured projects as a software architect is the Emergency management system for the Saudi Red Crescent SRCS. The system is designed to manage the ambulance lifecycle of the Saudi ambulance service. It operates with mobile and phone networks to manage and save calls, detects similar and false calls. Also, the system integrates with GPS and GIS systems for best performance for managing emergencies.
